Si-Rex03
has been applied to the New TNT building also called the
Metrolink project on the corner of Bourke Rd and Coward
Sts Mascot. Si-Rex03 was specified by Rice Daubney Group
and Builders were Australand. Painting subcontractors
were Gardeners painting for Stage 1 and Krete Painting
for Stage 2. Colours were Silver Screen and Equinox. Total
Area is 7000Sqm. |

World Tower Project,
Sydney Completed |

World
Tower Sydney – Klaas Coatings product Radcote has
been applied to 48,000 Sqm of Exterior surface in the
Colours Cirrus, Stonewall and Graphite. The original specification
by Crone Nation called for Silicate Paint and Klaas coatings
won the supply contract in 2001. The finishing touches
are being made to the building which should be opened
mid 2004. |

LLCX Project Completed |

|
|
The
first major China project in Si-Rex03 has been completed.
LLCX in Shenzhen, China as 100,000 Sqm of Si-Rex03 applied.
Rico Tse, Director of Shenzhen Klaas Coatings says –
“The clients are absolutely delighted with the result.
The matt finish suits the skim coat system used and colours
have a depth that other building simply don’t have,
there were no problems in application and it all went
smoothly. The developer and architect are amazed how the
surface keeps clean compared to regular emulsions. Shenzhen
has dreadful air-pollution and airborne dirt. The building
next-door was painted next door at the same time and looks
dirty already. The Si-Rex03 looks clean and crisp”

Klaas Coatings ASF Colourguide

The
new 200 colour Klaas ASF Colourguide has be released.
It is a fan deck with 200 earthy colours based on the
oxide pigment used in Klaas coatings products. It a conveniently
sized and colour depositions are in a matt finish which
has a good comparative value to the actual paint finish.

Si-Rex03 wins LLCX

Si-Rex03
has won the contract for exterior paint for the prestigious
LLCX project in central Nanshan. The building is 120,000Sqm
footprint is composed of 5 residential towers and the
retail area is being tenanted by B&Q, the well know
British DIY chain. Jason Yip, Sales Manager of Shenzhen
Klaas Coatings says. “It is great to win such a
high profile project in Shenzhen. It’s a landmark
building, mainly because of the well known main tenant.
The developers saw the benefits of using a Silicone Resin
Coating system instead of external wall tiles and went
to extraordinary lengths to research it’s performance.
Once satisfied we were specified and now the product is
on the water from Australia” |

Shenzhen Klaas Coatings is the Klaas Coatings
distribution partner in China. The office is located in
the Nanshan District of Shenzhen. There are 20 staff servicing

Pty Ltd Changes Name to Klaas Coatings Pty Ltd |
|

The
name change has been made to help reduce the confusion
with former Radcote supplier Radcrete Pacific Pty Ltd.
Jason Klaas, Managing Director or Klaas coating says “
Many of our customers had not realised that Radcrete and
Radcote were separate companies, the name change should
go some way to help establish this distinction. We look
forward to building a brand that will stand on it’s
own” |
